| Sunday School began on September 9, 2007. We hope everyone is planning to come to the St. Leon Open House. It’s time to meet old and new friends, and get acquainted with the Sunday School staff. We have some new teachers on board that can’t wait to meet the children. Classes begin with three- year-olds in our Nursery and go up to high school juniors. Each Sunday we begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at noon. On any given Sunday you might hear singing, see crafting, or see our students in church. I look forward to a rewarding and renewed spiritual year. Look for information on a new parent workshop!
Many of you have received an email with the attendance form attached. Please feel free to print it and send it or email it back. You can also use the enclosed registration form. Please give us your email address printed clearly. You may have also register on September 9 and throughout the month of September. All families are encouraged to bring their children on a regular basis. This aides in the continuity and spirituality of our youth. We will be asking for all families to sign up for various volunteer positions. Please consider helping out in any of the following capacities:
- Substitute teaching
- Arts and Crafts
- Snack aide
- Hospitality
- Pageant
- Guest speaker
- Music
There are so many ways you can share your talents and be positive role-models for our children.
