Sports Association

Since its inception in 1967, The Armenian Churches Sports Association ACSA has fostered basketball competition throughout the NY-NJ metropolitan area. The New York and New Jersey Armenian Churches and their parishioners support the league. Presently the following age groups are represented with teams:

• Junior Boys Ages 10-14

• Girls Ages 11 -18

• Senior Boys Ages 15-18

• Men Ages over 18

Games are held in NY and NJ locations on Sundays throughout the season (October -March). An All-Star Game at mid-season showcases the talents of the top players from each team. The season concludes with playoffs and championship games. An annual Dinner Dance with a Fund Raising Booklet concludes the year and helps to promote camaraderie and sportsmanship amongst the players. Practice dates are to be determined.
